Which Consultation?

Biomechanical  Consultation

If you are dealing with foot or lower limb pain or are worried about how your foot or lower limb looks or functions then this is for you. This is available both in-person and virtually. This appointment is designed for patients experiencing foot or lower limb pain and focuses on the assessment of musculoskeletal conditions affecting the foot and ankle, sometimes referred to as a biomechanical or lower limb assessment. During the consultation, we will review your symptoms, assess your movement and gait, and identify any contributory factors to your pain. Common conditions seen in this type of appointment include plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, muscle or tendon injuries, forefoot pain and ankle pain. This appointment is the first step towards understanding your condition and developing a tailored management plan to help you return to the activities you enjoy.

Running Analysis

If you are specifically interested in running performance and have no pain, the running analysis consultation will be the best fit. This is only available in-person. This appointment is for runners looking to improve performance, change their technique and reduce injury risk. The session focuses on a detailed assessment of your running technique, strength testing, footwear review, and analysis of your strength and conditioning programme. This will be used to identify areas for improvement and create a clear plan to help you maximise your running goals, whether that’s increasing distance, improving running economy or reducing injury risk.
